I wonder if majority of Asian parents practice Attachment Parenting? Older generations tend to have a thinking that your child will always want your attention if we keep attending to them especially when they cry or are emotionally uncontrolled. Just recently, one of my gf texted me telling me that her friend did not pick her 2 days old crying newborn up cause they afraid their newborn will want to be carried all the time. I was thinking how many years can you carry them? It's just temporary. Just like co-sleeping and breastfeeding. It's not taking forever, our child will grow up to be an adult too. I am going to enjoy the times I have with Isaac. 1 more day to midweek.  |
